About Sessions

Each session is unique, sculpted in the dynamic present moment, responding to what intentions you bring and what ‘layers’ are present to work with—be it physical, mental, emotional, spiritual—or (often) a combination. At the beginning of each session clients share any intentions or goals for the session, and the work unfolds from there. You may have specific physical or non physical areas you want to work on. Many clients, however, don’t have a specific issue. My work meets you where you are at. Modalities and techniques I utilize depend on how you come in and my reading of how to best meet you, but you can also always request techniques and modalities that you love.

Wearing comfortable clothes is best, as with craniosacral, energywork, and sometimes bodywork, you will remain fully clothed (massage is the only modality requiring skin contact).

Drinking water before and after a session helps to balance your system and integrate the work we do optimally. Eating a bit of protein after also helps with integration and assimilation, especially with energywork and craniosacral.  Sometimes you will be detoxing after a session, so creating a spacious and restful time for yourself is a great idea, as is taking a hot Epsom salt bath.
